Report tab
From Report tabs, users can view reports.
Reports are highly configurable and can be created for many purposes. For example, a report can include personal statements, top performers, dashboards, or quota attainment information. These reports can also contain charts, graphs, and other information.
Making inquiries on a report
Users can submit an inquiry from a report if inquiries are enabled on that report.
Note
In order to enable the feature your administrator needs to contact Varicent support.
Tip
Users may have different fields to fill in if an administrator has customized the inquiry process.
From a Report tab, click the Inquiry icon

In Sales Portal Classic, the Inquiry icon is

From the drop-down menu, select a category.
Categories are set up by the administrator. If no categories are available, select None.
Optional: Attach documentation to support your inquiry.
To explain the reason for your inquiry, type a description in the text box.
Click Submit.
Copying records into inquiries
In Varicent® Varicent ICM Payee Web, web users can copy rows of data from data grids in a report into an inquiry.
This feature is available only if it is enabled by the administrator.
From a Report tab, next to the row in a data grid that you want to copy into an inquiry, click the Copy icon
.
The row of data, along with the header, is copied into the comment field of the inquiry.
